BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:30 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is on a roll recently in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, liberating numerous villages and hilltops across the Islamic State’s (ISIS) heartland.

Led by their elite Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army continued their wide-scale assault in the eastern countryside of Aleppo this morning, targeting the strategic Jirah Military Airport that is located just north of the Maskanah Plain.

According to a military source in Aleppo, the Syrian Arab Army is on the brink of liberating this strategic installation after reaching the Jirah Airport’s western gates this morning.

If the Syrian Arab Army is successful in this military endeavor, they will be on the verge of entering the northern rim of the Maskanah Plain for the first time since they were forced withdraw from this region.

Well, yes. Always true. But when were they forced to withdraw? A month ago, 4 years ago?
