BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:00 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launched a fresh attack on a a Free Syrian Army (FSA) base in the northern countryside of Hama this afternoon.
Using surface-to-surface missiles, the Syrian Arab Army identified and targeted a military base belonging to the Jaysh Al-Izza faction of the Free Syrian Army near the key town of Al-Latamnah.
According to a military source in nearby Mhardeh, the Syrian Arab Army scored several direct hits on this Free Syrian Army base, causing significant damage to this militant installation.
The Syrian Arab Army then spread their attack to the southern countryside of Idlib, where they struck the militant-held posts around the town of Khuwayn, Al-Taman’ah, and Sukeek.
This latest attack by the Syrian Arab Army comes in response to the Jaysh Al-Izza strikes on their positions inside the government stronghold of Mhardeh in northern Hama.
