BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:00 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) carried out a powerful attack on Monday against a number of jihadist groups inside the northern part of Hama.
Led by their 4th Armored Division, the Syrian Arab Army fired several surface-to-surface missiles and artillery shells towards the jihadist military camps along the Hama-Idlib axis.
Among the targets for the Syrian Arab Army was the Al-Braidij Camp, which is currently under the control of the jihadist rebels.
The Syrian Arab Army would then attack the jihadist rebel posts in the towns of Al-Janabra, Al-Sakhar, Khuwayn, Al-Taman’ah, and Sukeek.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the Syrian military also targeted the Turkestan Islamic Party’s (TIP) missile launching platforms near the town Al-Sirmaniyah.
Al-Sirmaniyah was the location from which the jihadist rebels launched their deadly attack against the Syrian Arab Army in northeast Latakia last week.
