Aleppo Map 14-4-2016

Having successfully captured Mallah farms in the northern countryside of Aleppo from the Turkey-backed rebels on Thursday, The Syrian Armed Forces backed by the pro-government Palestinian fighters “Liwaa Al-Quds” and the National Defense Forces (NDF), have start storming the 4-year rebels-held district of Handarat Refugee camp, located nearly 7 km to the northeast of Aleppo city.

The initial information confirm that the Syrian Army has managed to take control over the ‘Zuhair Muhsen’ high school, located at the heart of Handarat, after fierce clashes with militants of “Liwaa Sultan Murad” and Jabhat Al-Nusra (Syria’s Al-Qaeda branch).

Sources from Liwaa Al-Quds also reported that Al-Nusra military commander of Handarat front has been killed along with tens of his fighters.

The Handarat Refugee camp bears a strategic importance as it overlooks Castello Highway, the main supply rout for Islamist groups in Aleppo northern countryside.

Sultan Murad…. The same Sultan who was slain at Kosovo field in 1389. I wonder if those fighting for this group are Turkish Mercenaries?
