BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:10 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) continued their operations in the southern countryside of Aleppo this week, capturing several sites from the Al-Qaeda linked Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham terrorist group near the Idlib Governorate border.

Led by the Republican Guard, the Syrian Arab Army scored a big advance southwest of the Khanasser Highway after bypassing Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s main line of defense around the large hilltop of Tal Sheikh Mohammad.

According to a military source in the Hama Governorate, the Syrian Arab Army and their allies (primarily NDF) imposed full control over Tal Sheikh Mohammad this week, paving the way for their eventual capture of Al-Rashidiyah.

Video footage of this operation was released by Hezbollah’s official media wing, today:

The Syrian Army and their allies are now pushing west towards the eastern countryside of the Idib Governorate, where they hope to retake the imperative Abu Dhuhour Military Airport.
