BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:40 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) resumed their offensive in the eastern countryside of Aleppo on Saturday night after successfully defending the Jirah Airbase from the Islamic State (ISIL) attackers.

Led by the Tiger Fores, the Syrian Arab Army attacked the last hilltop overlooking the Jirah Airbase last night, striking the Islamic State’s defenses from its northern axis.

According to local journalists in Aleppo, the Syrian Arab Army’s Tiger Forces took control of this hilltop after a short battle with the Islamic State terrorists during the twilight hours yesterday.

With the Jirah Airbase under their control, the Syrian Arab Army will push south towards the key town of Maskanah, which is the terrorist group’s last bastion inside the Aleppo Governorate.

SAA should continue South until they reach Raqqa Highway, while they have the initiative. In case ISIS will put fears fight in Maskanah, I will bypass and surround the town and continue south. Liberated Maskanah could be done little later

Flay the Daeshbags

I’d link up both the Aleppo and Homs fronts, capture the pocket in Hama, and establish a new supply line to Aleppo. If the SDF succeed in Raqqa, then hopefully by new years, the Daeshbags will be confined in Deir ez’zor
