The Syrian Arab Army’s “Tiger Forces” carried out another large-scale assault at the southern farms of Al-Mallaah on Monday morning after a successful weekend against the jihadist rebels of Jabhat Al-Nusra and Nouriddeen Al-Zinki.
The Tiger Forces, backed by the National Defense Forces (NDF) and Al-Quds Brigade (Palestinian paramilitary), captured several sites at the southern farms of Al-Malaah, killing a large number of enemy combatants from Jabhat Al-Nusra in the process.
With this recent advance in northern Aleppo, the Tiger Forces and their allies are now in control of 75% of the Al-Malaah’s southern farms, leaving only a small portion of territory left to capture.
On Saturday, the Syrian Armed Forces started a new military operation in northeast Aleppo that targeted the opposition controlled neighborhoods inside the Handarat Camp.
However, this Syrian Arab Army operation was limited, despite the voraciousness of the assault at the Handarat Camp.
