BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:45 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) struck a blow to anti-government forces in the Damascene suburb of Ayn Tarma, Wednesday, gaining ground in the capital’s embattled eastern district.

Units from the Syrian Arab Army’s 105th Brigade managed to break-through Faylaq Al-Rahman’s front-lines and seize much of the ‘Ayn Tarma Triangle on Wednesday afternoon.

Jobar’s main rebel group Faylaq al-Rahman, also known as the al-Rahman Legion, was forced back in the latest campaign, allowing the SAA to capture several positions in the area.

Faylaq Al-Rahman may give-up both Jobar and ‘Ayn Tarma in the coming weeks, as they now find themselves under attack by their former allies from Jaysh Al-Islam.
