The Syrian Arab Army’s 4th Mechanized Division, backed by the Republican Guard, captured a number of sites from the jihadist rebels of Fatah Halab inside the provincial capital of the Aleppo Governorate on Friday morning.

According to military source inside Aleppo City, the Syrian Armed Forces captured several building blocks near the Sabbagh Factory in the Al-Layramoun District’s Industrial Zone.

The latest advance by the Syrian Armed Forces inside the Al-Layramoun District’s Industrial Zone comes just 48 hours after the jihadist rebels failed to recover the territory they lost inside the provincial city.

Clashes are still ongoing inside the Al-Layramoun District, as the Syrian Armed Forces look to build a larger buffer-zone around the Al-Khalidiyah District’s western sector.
