BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:35 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) resumed their field operations in the western part of the East Ghouta region, yesterday, targeting several areas under the control of the Islamist rebels.

Led by their 4th Division, the Syrian Arab Army stormed the ‘Ayn Tarma Valley, yesterday, seizing almost the entire area after a fierce battle with the Islamist rebels at this axis.

As a result of this big advance, the Syrian Arab Army had managed to reach the southeastern outskirts of ‘Ayn Tarma, following the complete collapse of the Islamist defensive lines.

The Syrian Army is now pushing to capture the remaining Islamist positions in the ‘Ayn Tarma Valley as they prepare for their upcoming assault on the town of ‘Ayn Tarma.

Below is video footage footage of the Syrian Army engaged in fierce combat against the Islamist rebels in the ‘Ayn Tarma Valley:

So it looks like Ain Tarma city has many high rise buildings. This is a good opportunity for the Syrian government forces to use air lifted troops to land on the roofs and establish snipers there. It would make things easier.
