DAMASCUS, SYRIA (9:00 A.M.) – Jaysh Al-Islam (Army of Islam) launched a counter-offensive in the East Ghouta region of rural Damascus on Tuesday, targeting the the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) positions near the farms of Al-Reyhan.

Despite their best efforts, Jaysh Al-Islam was unable to make any progress near the farms of Al-Reyhan, paving the way for the Syrian Arab Army’s 105th Brigade of the Republican Guard to launch a counter-attack last night.

The 105th Brigade took advantage of Jaysh Al-Islam’s poor defenses and captured a number of farms between Al-Reyhan village and the East Ghouta signal base.

As a result of the counter-attack, the Syrian Armed Forces managed to clear much of the farms around the signal base and Al-Reyhan, forcing Jaysh Al-Islam to fortify their positions in preparation for the upcoming government assault.

The Syrian Arab Army has been the only Arab army that has withstood attacks by American backed terrori$ts.

It is composed of all the religious faiths of Syria and notably many tens of thousands of Sunni Muslims as well.

In fact, mostly backed by $audi and Qatari money and turkish direct help, in fact, the US involvement is more bizarre : seems there are no vote from congress so this is more a back (illegal) ops as it simply goes against US constitution and laws. In fact, the only thing that seem really legal (in the US) is the backing of the kurds. But many countries felt to such black-ops Nevertheless, I agree with you : only Syria withstood such s**t and the reason is simple to understand : Syrian people are NOT backing the so-called rebels at all,… Read more »
