BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:35 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launched a counter-assault in the Dara’a Governorate this morning, targeting the jihadist rebel defenses at the Al-Manishiyah District of the provincial capital.

Backed by the National Defense Forces (NDF) and Hezbollah, the Syrian Arab Army’s 5th Armored Division reportedly attacked the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham from two different axes, seizing some points in the Al-Manishiyah District.

While the Syrian Arab Army and their allies attack Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham inside the Al-Manishiyah District, the Syrian Arab Air Force (SAAYF) is pounding the jihadist rebels all around the provincial capital.

The Syrian Arab Army and their allies are currently attempting to reverse Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s gains from their offensive last week; this requires them to seize the Al-Najjar Buildings and Great Mosque in Al-Manishiyah.
