Homs, Syria – A Syrian military source informed Al-Masdar News that a high-ranking Ahrar Al-Sham meeting was targeted in the northern Homs countryside.

The meeting was being held in a military base near the jihadist stronghold of Al-Rastan. As a result of the strike, some 5 insurgents were killed in addition to 15 injured.

Identified from the dead were the Iraqi national Muhammad Al-Hosn, Bilal Al-Daher, and Muhammad Al-Mahmoud. A technical vehicle parked outside the building was also destroyed in the process.
