BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:40 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) has resumed their airstrikes over the northwestern region of Syria this afternoon.
According to a military source in the Hama Governorate, the Syrian Air Force launched several airstrikes over western and southern Idlib, targeting a number of sites belonging to Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham.
The source said the Syrian Air Force’s MiG-23 jets targeted the towns of Kafr Nabl, Naqeer, Kafr Sajnah, Maarzita, Sheikh Mustafa, and Jabala in the Idlib Governorate on Saturday.
The Syrian Air Force reportedly grounded their air force on Saturday after one of their jets was hit by an enemy anti-aircraft missile in northern Hama.
The jet was forced to land at the nearby Hama Military Airport as a result of the anti-aircraft missile.
