The Russians were not the only ones that were conducting airstrikes inside Syria on Wednesday, the Syrian Arab Air Force (SAAF) launched their own aerial campaign that targeted the Free Syrian Army’s “Division 24 Headquarters” and the imperative city of Tal Al-Harrah in the Dara’a Governorate, along with a number airstrikes along the rebel controlled villages of Jabatha Al-Khasheb, Beit Jinn, and Taranjah in the Golan Heights.
According to a source from the Syrian Air Defense, the Syrian Air Force launched 8 airstrikes above the FSA’s Division 24 Headquarters and their local weapons depot in the Dara’a Governorate’s western countryside; this resulted in the destruction of the weapons depot and severe damage to the Division 24 compound.
In addition to their airstrikes at the Division 24 HQ, the Syrian Air Force conducted 6 more attacks above the strategic city of Tal Al-Harrah in northern Dara’a; this is the most important city that sits in the “Dara’a Triangle” that is located on the border of the Al-Quneitra and Rif Dimashq Governorate’s in western Syria.
The Syrian Air Force did not in the Dara’a Governorate, they would carry out 26 airstrikes above the Al-Quneitra Governorate that specifically targeted the villages of Jabatha Al-Khasheb, Beit Jinn, and Taranjah inside the Golan Heights; these airstrikes were meant to assist the Syrian Armed Forces protecting the integral hills of Tal Al-Ahmar, Tal-Al-Qaba’a, and Tal Taranjah.
