BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:30 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) has stepped up their airstrikes over the southeastern countryside of the Homs Governorate recently, targeting several areas controlled by the so-called Islamic State (ISIS).
Earlier this afternoon, the Syrian Air Force carried out a number of airstrikes near the T-2 Pumping Station, inflicting heavy damage on the terrorist group’s defenses.
According to a military report from nearby Deir Ezzor, the Syrian Air Force has been working overtime, today, after the Islamic State carried out a number of attacks in the surrounding areas of the T-2 and T-3 pumping stations.
While ISIS is mostly confined the desert, they often head towards the Syrian Army’s lines at night in order to carry out powerful attacks before retreating back into the desert.
To combat these ISIS hit-and-run attacks, the Syrian and Russian air forces have been carrying out overnight airstrikes in a bid to deter any future terrorist strikes.
