The Syrian Arab Air Force (SAAF) launched a number of airstrikes in the Palmyra (Tadmur) countryside on Saturday morning, targeting the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) around the ‘Antar Mountains and the T-3 Pumping Station.

According to a military source at the T-4 Military Airport, the Syrian Air Force destroyed an ISIS convoy that was making their way from the Murbet Al-Hassan Mountains to the nearby ‘Antar Mountains.

The source added that the convoy was comprised of several armored vehicles and ISIS terrorists.

The total number of terrorists killed is unknown; however, the source stated that at least a half dozen armored vehicles were destroyed during the airstrikes on Saturday morning.
