BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:00 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) launched a number of airstrikes over the western region of the Idlib Governorate this morning.
According to a source in the nearby governorate of Latakia, the Syrian Air Force launched airstrikes over the Jisr Al-Shughour area of Idlib, hitting several towns and hilltops, including Ishtabraq, Halouz, and Jisr Al-Shughour city.
The Syrian Air Force’s attack comes just hours after the jihadist rebels launched a massive offensive to retake the strategic town of Kafr Naboudeh in northwestern Hama.
Since they launched this offensive, the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and their allies have retaken Kafr Naboudeh. The town is once again contested as the Syrian Army is trying to regain the area from the jihadists.
