The Syrian Arab Air Force (SAAF) is now using the Palmyra Military Airport once again after an 11 month hiatus due to the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham’s (ISIS) control of the city.

With the Palmyra Airport becoming semi-operational again, the Syrian Air Force can carry out airstrikes more frequently in the east Homs countryside.
