Damascus, SANA – Syria expresses its deep concern over the latest developments in Yemen, an official source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said Thursday.

Early today, Gulf warplanes, led by Saudi regime, launched an air assault on several civilian and military positions in Yemen, claiming the lives of many civilians, including women and children.

The source voiced in a statement to SANA Syria’s stress on respecting Yemen’s sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity.

Syria calls for dialogue among the Yemeni parties to arrive at a political solution that meets the will and aspirations of the Yemeni people, according to the source, who mentioned Syria’s demand that this will be respected by the international community.

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

  • Name-calling
  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.
