US President Donald Trump vowed that a decision on a US military action in Syria will be made “fairly soon,” at a press briefing in Washington D.C. on Thursday.

Trump said, “We’re having a number of meetings today, we’ll see what happens, we’re obviously looking at that very closely.” He went on to say that “now we have to make some further decisions, so they’ll be made fairly soon.”

Trump’s comment comes a day after his tweet, promising a missile strike against Syria, in which he warned Russia to “get ready” for “nice and new and ‘smart'” missiles to be fired towards its ally Syria, in retaliation to the alleged chemical weapons attack on the town of Douma.

Later in the day, Trump is due to discuss the Syrian crisis with French President Emmanuel Macron and UK Prime Minister Theresa May.

Trump should postpone until chemists checked on facts in Syria.

A gas attack with chlorine and 50 or more fatalities required amounts of chlorine that must have left traces easy enough to find,

I am so disappointed in Trump. Although subconsciously I know they are all the same – war mongering nut jobs, I honestly believed his campaign trail promises. What a lying, despicable, insane bloke he is.

……and yes, I know he is just a figurehead / puppet.
