BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:00 A.M.) – The Syrian government has accused the U.S. Coalition of using internationally banned weapons inside the Deir Ezzor Governorate.
According to state-owned Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the U.S. Coalition used white phosphorus bombs while attacking the town of Hajin this week.
The SANA report said that several people were killed and wounded as a result of this latest attack.
Syria previously accused the U.S. Coalition of using white phosphorus bombs in the Deir Ezzor Governorate over the weekend.
The U.S. Coalition denied the Syrian government’s accusation, adding that the attack was carried out by unknown warplanes.
