Ever since Moscow launched its first airstrikes in Syria on ISIS and Islamist rebels in late September, the overall rebellion in the country has faced serious troubles mainly due to advances by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), the People’s Protection Units (YPG) and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). Meanwhile, while downing a Russian jet in November, the Turkish Army has also launched nation-wide crackdowns on Kurdish regions in Turkey which have witness increased tensions, revolts and violence.
