After retaking the Khan Touman storage base yesterday, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and allied paramilitary factions have set their eyes upon the imperative town of Khan Touman. Meanwhile, government forces are also advancing inside Aleppo city itself with clashes ongoing in the Ramouseh district.

Commander-in-chief of the Tiger Forces, Suheil al-Hassan (depicted in the middle above) is currently leading the SAA’s charge.

However, Jaish al-Fateh is said to have called upon reinforcements to prevent the SAA from seizing control of Khan Touman – Islamist rebels now hope to turn the tides at Aleppo in favor of the Syrian Opposition.

Regrettably for the Islamist rebels, none other than Major General Qassim Suleimani, a prominent Iranian general, was spotted in the region yesterday. Less than a year ago, Suleimani led a large-scale offensive in the very same southern countryside of Aleppo, resulting in the capture of several dozen towns and villages.

“Less than a year ago, Suleimani led a large-scale offensive in the very same southern countryside of Aleppo”
=> forgetting about the Fallujah cleansing?
I wouldn’t be surprised if Soleimani was here to cook a plan to f**k up the besieged pocket.
