BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:30 P.M.) – Several soldiers from the Turkish Army were reportedly killed or wounded this afternoon following the joint airstrikes launched by the Syrian and Russian air forces in the Idlib Governorate.

According to pro-opposition media, as many as ten Turkish soldiers were killed or wounded as a result of the joint Russian-Syrian airstrikes near the town of Kansafra.

Furthermore, opposition activists claimed that several Turkish military vehicles were destroyed because of these strikes.

The Turkish Ministry of Defense has yet comment on these claims; however, if true, this could put the Turkish military’s death toll over 20 in the past week.

At the same time, the Turkish-backed militants from the National Liberation Front NLF), alongside their jihadist allies, are currently trying to capture the town of Nayrab from the Syrian Army.

A source from the Syrian Army said that Turkish artillery has targeted their positions around Nayrab and that they are currently confronting the militants.

Great news!

Russia and Syria should issue an ultimatum to Turkey to immediately remove all illegal Turkish troops from northern Syria or convey a clear message to Erdogan that his troops won’t leave alive.

The foreign backed jihadis are still trying to retake Nayrab which they lost over a week ago???
If I were them I would be reinforcing my current defensive lines. But then again, I’m probably thinking too much into this….

Ok Syria-Russia knew that the Turkey artillery put in Syria had the propose of attacking SYria-Russia ground troops, right ? These weapons are to taken for decoration. So, Russia-Syria air forces must get rid of this Turkey artillery, wherever it is. Turkey is an invader country in Syria, it has been protecting and helping terrorists in Idlib, it has fired missiles to Russia airplanes, it has shut down Syria helicopters with MANPADs,…..do you need more justifications ?, please.

The Turkish army that Erdoğan has sent into Idlib is mostly his Kemalist opposition, deliberately ill-equipped to meet their fate.

Assad could turn the tables on Erdoğan by offering this invading Turkish army asylum in exchange for switching sides and becoming a Turkish (Kemalist) government-in-exile in Idlib – and threaten to invade and set up in Hatay.

With Russia, Iran and Iraq also supporting the Kurds in eastern Turkey, it would be the end of Erdoğan.

I think Russia should use FOAB, thermobaric bomb, the Russian version of GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast used by US Air Force in 2017 Nangarhar airstrike in Afghanistan. This weapon will create the safe zone in Syria and will lead to cessation of all hostilities.

If EU remains uninterested to come to Syria and establish the safe zone under UN mandate, the Ottomans, ISIS and head choppers will come to Europe.
