BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:40 P.M.) – Several Saudi Coalition soldiers were killed on Sunday as a result of a number of Houthi sniper operations along the Yemeni border.

According to the Houthi forces’ official media wing, their snipers began the day by killing two Saudi soldiers near the Mashal military base.

Another sniper attack by the Houthi forces targeted the Saudi Coalition’s positions inside the Jizan region on Saturday; this operation resulted in three soldiers killed.

The Houthi forces have recently stepped up their attacks along the Yemeni border following the establishment of a U.N.-brokered ceasefire in the Hodeidah province.

Since the inception of this ceasefire in Hodeidah, the majority of the fighting in Yemen has shifted to Al-Bayda (central Yemen), Hajjah (northern Yemen), Sa’ada (northern Yemen), and Sana’a (northern Yemen.
