The Saudi Deputy Crown Prince, Mohammed Bin Salman, has reportedly met Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu in the Jordanian port city of Aqaba. The meeting was also attended by the Jordanian Chief of Staff, Brigadier General Mash’al Mohammed Zein.
The parties primarily discussed the Saudi-Egyptian relations following the recent visit of Saudi king to Egypt and the subsequent outcomes.
Salman and Netanyahu also exchanged viewpoints about a variety of issues including Tiran and Sanafir Islands and the demarcation of maritime borders between the two countries, the future of Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and Jordan, Signing a military agreement between Saudi Arabia and Israel concerning the Red Sea, joining efforts to fight “terrorism”, and the enhancing economic ties.
Unclassified reports revealed that a possible displacement of Palestinians in Gaza to Egypt’s Sinai was also on the table.
