BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:10 P.M.) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have given the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) an ultimatum this weekend that requires them to surrender their last positions in the eastern region of the Euphrates River Valley.
According to a report from the Deir Ezor Governorate, the SDF demanded that ISIS either surrender themselves by noon on Saturday or else they will resume their operation to capture the Baghouz Camp.
The report added that the Islamic State has yet to respond to the ultimatum from the Syrian Democratic Forces.
Currently, the Islamic State is confined to approximately 700 square meters of territory near the town of Baghouz Fouqani.
Many of the remaining Islamic State fighters have refused to surrender themselves despite the fact they are completely surrounded and have limited provisions.
