The Turkish Armed Forces and aligned militant factions delt a devastating blow to the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) today as the Euphrates Shield forces not only captured Ulashi village but also killed and captured a number of Kurdish fighters.

Moments ago, Turkish-backed militants also captured the neighboring village of Bughaz.

During these clashes, 8 SDF fighters surrendered themselves and at least 13 Kurdish troops were left dead on the battlefield despite earlier reports that the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is in the process of taking over this area.

One of the Kurdish prisoners of war was executed after being taken into captivity by a Free Syrian Army (FSA) affiliated group. In addition, militant forces claimed to have captured a PKK fighter originating from Iraq.

The attack was led by the Turkish Army, FSA, Ahrar al-Sham and Failaq al-Sham.

Meanwhile, new contingents of Turkish Armed Forces arrived across the border to Jarabulus and are expected to join the Manbij offensive in the days to come despite the presence of US special forces alongside Kurdish forces in the region.

Meanwhile, 5 SAA soldiers also surrendered themselves to the Turkish Army on Monday.

So much of the official Turkish statement that they’d allow the SAA to takeover of Manbij areas to separate TA and mercenaries from SDF. All this talk was a ruse to to hide the preparations to kick off a surprise attack. Before that were surprise attack on SAA held Tardif.

Additionally to their open military aggression the Turkish “heroes” shot a Kurdish POW. Before they also manhandled Syrian soldiers that they had illegally kidnapped on Syrian soil.

Obviously Turkey wants to pick a war with Syria and the Kurds.

ICC calling for Erdogan’s henchmen.

The SAA and SDF must keep cool until the time is ripe.
Presently the expansion into IS & Qaeda territory must come first.

America has too wait till US forces are attacked. What then no idea.

What the hell is going on with Russia? Why aren’t they letting the Syrians move into the land they promised? Why are the Syrians surrendering themselves to the illegal turkish agressors in the first place? Unbelievable. The world needs to stand up to the agressive ideology of pan turkism

These are not Kurdish fighters but regular Syrian Army soldiers of the Republican Guard. The emblem on the military uniform of the captive in the first photo proves it clearly. The Syrian Army had already taken position in the village attacked by the invading Turkish forces and this attack is a blatant breach of the truce which the Turkish regime is supposed to be a guarantor of.

The west will never dare haul Turks to any UN court because Turkey then wouldn’t allow NATO to use its country.

You will see what the West dares when Turkey creates problems with the West.

Currently the TA problems are with Syria and US mercenaries.

I repeat. These are Syrian Army soldiers not SDF who obviously are in cohorts with the Turks though pretendong to be antagpnistic to them. The emblem on the captured soldier’s uniform and its colour proves it.

The patch on the uniform is the emblem of the Manbij Military Council. Members of this group may be any ethnicity but are natives of the area. He could be a Turkomen.
