BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:05 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) carried out a new attack in the eastern countryside of the Hama Governorate, today, targeting the Islamic State’s (ISIL) positions inside the Al-Salamiyah District.

Using anti-tank missiles, the Syrian Arab Army was able to score several direct hits on the Islamic State’s positions, inflicting heavy damage on the terrorist group’s positions in Al-Dakilah.

According to the 11th Tank Division, the Syrian Arab Army carried out an attack on the Islamic State’s positions in Al-Dakilah, resulting in the destruction of three armored vehicles and one drone.

While the Syrian Arab Army did not capture territory during the attack, they did manage to position themselves to storm the town of Al-Dakilah, which will likely come soon as they prepare to launch their central Syria offensive.
