Hezbollah Secretary General, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah urged the resistance crowds to refrain from shooting in the air during his speech which is planned on Monday during the commemoration of the Martyred Leaders Day.

In a statement released by Hezbollah Media Relations on Sunday, the resistance leader stressed that shooting in the air “harms the people as well as the occasion.”

“In the name of Allah the Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful.

O dear, God willing I will be at your service on Monday night on the anniversary of the martyred leaders to commemorate this precious occasion.

I call upon you, insisting that everybody has to categorically refrain from shooting in the air in view of the religious and the legal considerations,” the statement said.

Hezbollah marks on February 16 the Martyred Leaders Day: Sheikh Ragheb Harb, Sayyed Abbas Moussawi, Hajj Imad Moughnieh.

Sayyed Nasrallah will deliver a speech on Monday night during a ceremony organized on the occasion in Sayyed Shuhadaa Complex in Beirut’s southern suburb (Dahiyeh).

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

  • Name-calling
  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.
