At least three Yemeni students were martyred on Tuesday as fresh Saudi-led warplanes pounded a school in the southwestern Ibb province.
CNN quoted Yemeni officials as saying that three students had been killed at the Al Sibtain School in Maitam, in southwestern Yemen, as a result of an airstrike.
It added that the strike was targeting Al Hamza military base, noting that the school is about 500 meters from the base, and that the schoolchildren were heading to their lunch break when the attacks took place, the officials said.
Meanwhile, Press TV cited media reports as it put the death toll of the latest strike in Ibb at six students.
Dozens of civilians have been killed in the air raids carried out by the Saudi-led coalition.
At least 74 children are known to have been killed and 44 children maimed since the fighting began on March 26, UNICEF said in a statement on Monday.
Human rights watchdogs slammed Riyadh for its aggression on the Yemeni residential areas.
