The Saudi-led coalition reportedly launched a series of airstrikes against targets in Yemen’s capital Sanaa on Saturday night.

Footage appears to show explosions in the distance. A bright flash of light is shortly followed by a loud booming noise.

The airstrikes were reportedly directed against Houthi military positions.

No information on casualties was reported.

RUPTLY requested a comment from the Saudi Center for International Communication, however, no reply has so far been received.

The bombardment would be the first by the coalition in Sanaa since the Saudi-backed government and Houthi forces reached an agreement last month.
