Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir speaks during a joint news conference with his Jordanian counterpart Nasser Judeh at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Amman, Jordan, July 9, 2015.

BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:00 P.M.) – Saudi Foreign Minister ‘Adel Jubeir claimed a few weeks back that Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad helped create the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist organization that has overrun much of his country’s desert region.

“But in order to defeat Da’esh, we have to deal with what I call the ‘two elephants’ in the room. One of those elephants is Bashar Al-Assad,” Jubeir told a crowd of journalists in Munich, Germany on February 12, 2017.

“We cannot defeat Da’esh in Syria unless we bring about change in Bashar Al-Assad in Syria. He is the man who helped create it by releasing radicals from his jails; by allowing Da’esh to operate without attacking them; and even trading with them,” Jubeir alleged.

“And unless and until there is a change in Syria, Da’esh will not be defeated in Syria, period,” the Saudi Foreign Minister added.

Jubeir claims that Saudi Arabia will both defeat ISIS and Bashar Al-Assad, despite the fact the rebels his country supports are currently losing on the ground to the Syrian Government forces.

Mr. ‘Adel Jubeir needs mental treatment. If anyone was guilty of creating IS it is his own Wahhabi royal clan that financed the spread of Takfir thought and the US that busted the secular Iraqi Baath system and state. IS was created by a cabal of Takfiri and Iraqi ex-officials around Haji Bakr (Samir Abd Muhammad al-Khlifawi). The later had lost their place in live when the US dissolved the Iraqi army etc. and looked for revenge. http://www.spiegel.de/international/world/islamic-state-files-show-structure-of-islamist-terror-group-a-1029274.html Syria merely became a victim of the IS expansionist dreams. Because Syria was weakened of a war that the pious family and… Read more »

Absolutely. Arab blame game. Mr. ‘Adel Jubeir only missed to implicate the Zionists as IS helpers.

Yes. The problem is that Al Jazeera & co will repeat this yarn in such perfect Arabic so often that some innocent souls will believe that there is a stitch of truth to this fairy tale. And that his narrative is not pure seaman’s yarn.

Yes the KSA princelings have no scruples to create IS like organizations.
It was KSA and the US that fostered Taliban & al-Qaeda that fathered IS together with some Iraqi ex-service members.

This man is delusional, or a liar or both. Whabbists created ISIS. It is reported Financing for training ISIS fighters in Turkey was arranged by a close personal friend of Erdogan named Yasin al-Qadi, a Saudi banker close to the Saudi Royal House, member of the Muslim Brotherhood, financier of Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda since Afghanistan. The House of Saud were intimately connected with both the formation of ISIS and Al Nusra front to ferment conflict inside Syria.

It just can be a carnival joke. I think that after Iraq and Syria are completely clean from jihadists their armies should have a very serious conversation with the Saudis and associates.

The invention of ISIS by Assad was obviously an exceedingly cunning plan for Assad to keep power by having his military destroyed, the civilian population dispersed, civilian infrastructure destroyed and the country fragmented by warring sub-factions of the terrorists.

Geez, what a moroon.

Yes the plan was so secret and cunning that even Dr. Assad himself did know. Thank Mr. ‘Adel Jubeir the public and Dr. Assad are reminded who was guilty.

Not a moron but selling as for morons. Trying anyway.
But Al Jazeera & co will re-tweet so often that some
naive people will believe him.
