Saudi Foreign Minister, Adel al-Jubeir, called to provide Syria insurgents with lethal arms, warning against the situation in the crisis-hit country.

During a press conference in Geneva on Monday, the Saudi FM said that the US-led coalition which is allegedly fighting ISIL Takfiri group, is the side which should provide the Syrian militants with arms.

“We always consider that it is necessary to provide the opposition with lethal arms at maximum level,” Jubeir told the press conference.

Meanwhile, he warned of the danger of the situations in Syria, pointing out that unless the resumption of the ceasefire and the political process, the situation will deteriorate further and there will be chaos and the killing and destruction will continue with resulting risks to Syria and the region.

He said that if change did not come through a political process, then it will come through arms, he was quoted as saying by Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The problem is that by bombing water supply, you’ll make the 25% saudis living under the pauverty threshold and the shias to die first then help the regime to get stronger as dead dissent is no dissent… Better strike when it hurts really…

Are you crazy? Nuks create so much pollution that any arial explosion makes around 1M ppl dying from a cancer and fallouts spread worldwide. The only interest of nukes is if you do not use them : no country will try a direct attack against a country who has nukes.
Russia has things like the FOAB which are pretty bad-a*s…

Djeddah is only 1400km away from Damascus… Does this arrogant guy ever considered that his personnal palace could perfectly be bombed by a SyAF Su-22 or Mig-23? It’d require 2 or 4 big fuel-tanks, a last generation ECM pod in order to saturate radar systems, but it should be possible to make his palace look like it had moved overnight in the Aleppo’s outskirts… Highly risky for the pilot but feasable…
