BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:45 A.M.) – With the Yemen peace talks out of the way, the Saudi Coalition has resumed their heavy bombardment of the Houthi-held parts of the country.
According to the pro-Houthi Yemeni Ministry of Defense, the Saudi Coalition launched over 50 airstrikes in the last two days, which is a significant increase since the start of December.
The Yemeni Ministry of Defense said that Saudi Coalition launched 52 airstrikes over the Sa’ada, Hodeidah, Hajjah, Marib, and Najran (Saudi Arabia) provinces.
In addition to their air attack, the Saudi Coalition also resumed their heavy ground assault in the Hodeidah Governorate.
The Saudi Coalition is looking to capture the city of Hodeidah before any ceasefire plan is put in place.
