BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:20 A.M.) – The Saudi Coalition launched a powerful attack along the Yemeni coast this past week, despite reports of a new ceasefire in the Hodeidah Governorate.

The Saudi Coalition troops began their offensive this weekend by storming the Houthi defenses at the Manzar region of western Yemen.

However, the two-day long attack would end in failure for the Saudi Coalition after they failed to crack the Houthi lines in the Manzar region.

According to the official media wing of the Houthi forces, the Saudi Coalition suffered heavy casualties during the attack, while also losing at least five armored vehicles.

As shown in the short video below, the dead Saudi Coalition fighters were left behind after the latter retreated from the Manzar area on Saturday:

Sad to see so much of death & destruction in Yemen a poorest of poor country which is attacked by Saudis & UAE. The last part of showing off with the display of spoils of war guns weapons ammunition picked up was simply awesome. Send a thank you note to MBS… Read more »

I had one of these when I was a conscript of the East German army in the mid-1980s, and I seem to remember this exact fold-away shoulder piece. They were 7.62mm (instead of the later 5.45mm models) and were phased out in the late 1980s. Initially, these old 7.62mm types were sold second-hand by East Germany to God-knows-where; after the unification probably a h**l lot more of them were… Read more »
