BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:30 A.M.) – The Saudi-led Coalition renewed their bombardment of the Houthi-held Hodeidah Port this morning after taking a brief hiatus this past weekend.
According to the official media wing of the Houthi forces, the Saudi-led Coalition heavily bombarded the provincial capital of Hodeidah, striking the port and the Al-Hali District.
The Houthi forces added that the Saudi-led Coalition had targeted the Al-Jabana area of the Al-Hali District.
No casualties have been reported thus far.
Last week, the Saudi-led Coalition carried out a deadly attack in the northern province of Sa’ada, killing at least 51 people, including 41 children.
Since this massacre, the United Nations has called on all parties in Yemen to return to the negotiations table and end the violence plaguing the country.

Please treat this discussion with the same respect you would a public park. We, too, are a shared community resource — a place to share skills, knowledge and interests through ongoing conversation.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion

Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

  • Name-calling
  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.

“No casualties have been reported thus far.”
=> Yeah, F-15E with 10.5 tons payload (more than a WW2 B-29) are pounding all day long and there are no casualties.
Never sewed Qat but it seems strong. Thus, according to ppl I know, when you take cocaine, you believe your dreams are reality. Houthi propaganda is made by Hezbolah’s media wing and Hezbo is also the #1 cocaine importer in the Mid-East, getting it directly from Colombian+Sinaloa cartels.
