BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:25 A.M.) – The Saudi Air Force launched their largest aerial assault on the port-city of Hodeidah this past weekend, the Yemen-based Masirah TV reported on Sunday.
According to the Masirah TV report, the Saudi Air Force launched over 80 airstrikes in the past 24 hours in Hodeidah, causing several powerful explosions inside the port-city.
Masirah TV added that the large-scale Saudi Air Force assault came shortly after the Arab Coalition troops lost 113 fighters during their assault on Hodeidah last week.
The Saudi Coalition has been attempting to score several small advances inside Hodeidah before they begin their large-scale offensive to capture the port-city from the Houthi forces.
Last week, the Saudi Coalition sent more than 10,000 reinforcements to the Red Sea coast of Yemen in order to strengthen their troops before the big offensive.
