BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:36 A.M.) – Recently released satellite images over Raqqa shows that the terrorist group, ISIS, are preparing for the anticipated assault on their de facto capital of Raqqa.

Before and after satellite photos taken in December 2016 and this month, show Mansour street area of Raqqa being covered by sheets of metal.

This move by ISIS is a preventative measure so that spy drones being used Kurdish-led forces, US forces and the Syrian military, cannot see movement in this particular area.

It will make it difficult to identify targets and distinguish vehicles belonging to ISIS or civilians.

This comes as Kurdish-led forces, back by the United States, are making significant gains in the countryside of Raqqa.

IS terror regime in Raqqa will end. All the preparations will not help and only increase the suffering and casualties of the civilians.

They are going to save their operatives from Raqqa. Not to fight ISIS.

It’s not a problem for bigots as they believe their imaginary friend waits for the martyrs in the afterlife…
And… What if… they end meeting Anubis?

It is never a problem for any leaders – when rank and file and civilians are martyred.

p.s. Extreme improvement request no 72 but Anubis for IS.

The preparations of course help to fight at least several months longer. And yes, casualties of civilians will be high. But their Israhelli masters don’t care. Every dead Arab is good for them.

“It will make it difficult to identify targets and distinguish vehicles belonging to ISIS or civilians”
=> I’m not sure it’ll be more efficient than burning tires… We’re not in Vietnam era anymore : even jungle is no more a cover 😉

They IMHO will need more sophisticated gear. No idea whether that is available. If not metal is a show stopper. But not the whole town is clad in metal.

I don’t think that sheets of metal will save you from the thermal imaging and other high tech things.
