BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:20 A.M.) – Satellite footage from Terra Services revealed on Friday that the Islamic State (ISIS) has severely damaged the ancient amphitheater and tetrapylon of Palmyra (Tadmur).
Images dating as far back as December 26th, 2016 reveal that the terrorist group has been purposely causing damage to these two ancient sites in Palmyra.

ISIS has specifically targeted these ancient sites in the past as a way to anger the Syrian government for bombing their positions in the vast desert area of Homs.
The terrorist group seized Palmyra in mid-December of 2016 after losing the city to the Syrian Arab Army in March of that year.
