The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) backed by the well-trained Hezbollah fighters killed yesterday scores of ISIS militants who attempted to break into Hezbollah posts near the Syrian village of Jarajeer.
The militants were spotted trying to infiltrate the positions Hezbollah has recaptured recently. Immediately, ISIS lost two wheels and most of the attackers. The Syrian Army helicopters provided a good support from the air, shelling the jihadis with a hail of heavy machine gun bullets.
Things were not better for ISIS fighters in the north of the Lebanese town of Arsal. Using a wire-guided missile, Hezbollah managed to destroy a vehicle equipped with a 33 mm machine gun.
The Syrian Arab Army and Hezbollah have recaptured most of the areas taken by al-Nusra militants in Qalamoun since their latest push in May 4, and are now battling with ISIS militants who control parts of northern outskirts of Qalamoun.
