The Syrian and Russian air forces are working overtime to hunt terrorists across Syria, targeting specific areas where a large concentration of Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) fighters can be found.

The Syrian and Russian air forces began the day by striking ISIS’ positions at the strategic towns of Deir Hafer and Al-Bab in east Aleppo, destroying a number of hideouts used by the aforementioned terrorist organization.

Following the airstrikes over Al-Bab and Deir Hafer, the Russian Air Force carried out a powerful airstrike over the town of Maskanah, leaving a large number of ISIS terrorists dead or wounded.

Meanwhile, in the Idlib and Hama governorates, the Syrian Air Force reportedly targeted the cities of Saraqib, Binnish, Taftanaz, Kafr Naboudeh, Kafr Zita, Al-Latiminah, Al-Mansoura, and Al-Misheikh.

Russia would lead the charge in the Deir Ezzor Governorate, striking several ISIS sites near the cities of Al-Mayadeen and Abukamal while also targeting the terrorist group’s supply route to the provincial capital.
