BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:10 P.M.) – The Russian and Syrian air forces have begun launching heavy airstrikes over the Jabal Al-Zawiya region of southern Idlib this afternoon as they attempt to propel the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) troops into this mountainous area.

According to a military source in nearby Hama, the Syrian Arab Army received a major boost during this ongoing battle at Huwayz when the Russian and Syrian air forces began pounding the militant positions in and around the town.

The source said the Syrian Army has reentered the town after advancing from the Al-Hamra axis; however, they are still trying to establish a foothold inside of Huwayz.

Should the Syrian Army capture Huwayz from the militant forces, they will be within a few hundred meters of the Turkish observation post that is situated at the southwestern slope of Jabal Al-Zawiya.

Jabal Al-Zawiya is an important mountain that is located across the southern part of Idlib; it has been fully under the control of the militants since their Ma’arat Al-Nu’man offensive in 2012.

This is good news as all of Syria has to be liberated from US sponsored terrorists who are causing havoc on civilians. Russia needs to bomb these head-chopping cowards to the trash heap. US and Zionist agenda in Syria has failed and they should accept that and quit being spoilers and bringing more misery to the region. US is a sunset failing power and desperate to maintain a delusional hegemony pipe dream for Zionist masters. Time and history is not on US side.

One way to avoid the USA-NATO excuse of Syria using chemical weapons on air strikes is that only Russia plans bomb Idlib areas without mercy on terrorists. I hope Russia gives very strong air support to Syria-Russia-Hezbolah-Iran ground troops.
