DAMASCUS, SYRIA (0:25 A.M.) – Russian security forces conducted counter-terrorist operation in Buinaksk district of Dagestan Autonomous Republic on Friday neutralizing four armed militants.

A source in National Anti-terrorist Comittee (NAC) told Interfax agency that militants belonged to remnants of the so-called “Kadar” illegal armed group.

According to NAC, the group was responsible for multiple terrorist attacks in the district, including assassination of the head of Karamakhi village along with other civilians, extortion of large sums of money from local businessmen.

“Kadar” group was mainly liquidated last year when law enforcers eliminated several leaders of the militants effectively crushing organization’s core.
