BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:30 P.M.) – A Russian naval ship was seen transiting the Bosphorus Strait that separates the Mediterranean and Black seas on Friday.
According to Yoruk Isik of the Bosphorus Observer, the Russian TGK-SPB flag roro vessel Sparta made its way to the Syrian port city of Tartous from the Noborossiysk Port this week.

As Isik pointed out above, the Russian vessel was likely carrying military cargo that was being delivered to the Syrian armed fores.
These Russian vessels often deliver weapons to Syria through the port in Tartous; however, they could also be resupplying their troops currently deployed inside the country.
