BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:30 P.M.) – The Russian military police uncovered a large weapons cache on Friday that belonged the jihadist rebels in northern Homs.

According to a military report, the Russian police were combing through the outskirts of Al-Rastan in northern Homs, when they came across this large weapons cache.

The weapons cache belonged to the rebel forces that once controlled this area before they were evacuated to northern Syria as part of the peace agreement.

The cache itself contained a large quantity of weapons and ammunition, including several mortar and artillery shells, explosive devices, and hellfire cannons.

As shown in the video below, the weapons were stored in a hub located just outside of Al-Rastan:

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

  • Name-calling
  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.
