BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:35 P.M.) – The Russian Aerospace Forces unleashed a flurry of airstrikes over the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate these past 24 hours, hitting several targets near the provincial border of Idlib.
Russian jets flying out of the Hmaymim Airport repeatedly targeted Jaysh Al-Izza’s positions inside the towns of Al-Lataminah and Kafr Zita, while Syrian Arab Army (SAA) units fired several missiles and artillery shells towards the latter’s defenses.
In addition to the attacks on the aforementioned localities, the Russian Aerospace Forces also targeted a number of areas inside the southern countryside of the Idlib Governorate.
These latest attacks by the Russian Aerospace Forces come as reports of an imminent Syrian Army offensive in the northern countryside of Hama.
