DAMASCUS, SYRIA (8:30 P.M.) – The Russian Air Force has been relentlessly targeting jihadist supply lines to Aleppo today, paving the way for the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) to advance inside the southwestern sector of the city.
Russian jets have specifically concentrated on the jihadist supply between the Idlib Governorate town of Saraqib and southern Aleppo village of Khan Touman, striking any militant vehicle attempting to transport supplies to their comrades fighting the Syrian Arab Army.
In addition to their airstrikes over southern Aleppo, the Russian Air Force has carried out several attacks in the ‘Anadan Plains, targeting the jihadist strongholds of ‘Anadan, Bayyanoun, Haritan, Hayyan, and Kafr Hamra.
As a result of these powerful airstrikes by the Russian Air Force, the Syrian Arab Army has been able to advance at two different axes in southwestern Aleppo, including the Aqrab area near the 1070 Al-Hamdaniyah Housing Project.
Typically, when the Russian Air Force launches airstrikes against the enemy combatants with this level of ferocity, it means the Syrian Arab Army is preparing to launch an offensive.
