BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:30 P.M.) – The Russian Air Force has played an integral role in the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) large-scale advance in the central region of Syria, providing infantrymen on the ground necessary air cover on a daily basis.

Russian jets and choppers paved the way for the Syrian Arab Army to advance into the Islamic State’s last stronghold, ‘Uqayribat, after bombing the terrorist group’s positions for several days in the eastern countryside of the Hama Governorate.

Video footage of the Russian Air Force bombing the Islamic State’s positions in the ‘Uqayribat countryside was released by the Syrian Free News channel on YouTube, Saturday.

The Russian Air Force is still bombing the Islamic State’s positions in the eastern countryside of Hama, as they hope to clear the entire region of ISIL terrorists in the coming days.
